On 12 February, the High Authority for transparency in public life received a delegation composed of five agents of the services of the European Ombudsman, Emily O’Reilly, led by the director of the Strategic Inquiry Unit, Fergal O’Regan.
The High Authority participates in the conference of the International association of anticorruption authorities
This platform, which was created in 2006, aims to foster experience sharing and cooperation between anticorruption authorities, as mentioned in the commitments taken by State parties to the United Nations Convention against corruption.
The High Authority, which held the vice-presidency until 10 December, succeeded the National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection of Mexico (INAI) as the president of the Network for Integrity. The National Integrity Agency (ANI) will be the vice-president.
On 16 January 2019, the President of the High Authority for Transparency in Public Life, Mr. Jean-Louis Nadal, received the President of the Bulgarian Court of Cassation, Mr. Lozan Panov.
In December 2018, the High Authority received public officials from Paraguay and South Korea. These foreign guests wanted to better understand the French system for fighting corruption and promoting public integrity.
The President of the High Authority participates in the International Seminar of the Transparency Agency of Barcelona
The President of the High Authority for Transparency in Public Life, Jean-Louis Nadal, participated in this event under the theme “public-private integrity for a new governance”.
These foreign figures, from different backgrounds and national contexts, expressed a common interest in the missions of the High Authority and in matters related to transparency, ethics and integrity in the public sphere.
Over sixty delegations were brought together under the theme “Multiple challenges require sustainable and interactive solutions”.
